I wanted to send out Christmas cards this year but did not on purpose. These days they are something that doesn't take up a lot of time, effort, and doesn't have much meaning. It ends up in the trash and that is wasted money and skills on my part. People used to send out Christmas letters to inform their friends and family of the updates concerning their families, but with blogs and emails these days it seems pretty meaningless.
There's gotta be something that is greater than Christmas cards and letters in this day and age. Something easy and meaningful (is there such a thing?) or maybe something that people want to invest their time in for someone else so that when the receiver gets that thing form you they think it's great and they don't want to throw it away. There might need to be a new thing with a new meaning.
